Biography:
Stepping stones towards the summit
A singer/songwriter at home on hills of Seattle and among the trees of western washington, familiar with the coated stink of dingy metal venues, Edral Stone and company draw on deep roots behind them to explore themselves and the world around them. Currently in the process of building a worthy album by their own standards, they spend their time in the Seattle area writing, rehearsing and listening.
Much of Edral Stone's material is written at the base level by him personally, but it's important to note the team behind the man and his music. Generally the seed of an idea or basic structure of a piece will be assembleed in his mind with a focus on personal experience and honest self expression. Once a concrete idea or vision has been formed it's off to the production table with the legendary Ian Miller running the soundboard and thumbing the bass guitar. This is where a vast portion of the magic happens.

While the tunes themselves are largely developed by Edral, they come to full fruition and potential after being put through the music-mill, so to speak. Crucial changes are known to be made at this stage and there's much to be said for an audio engineer, like Ian, who can pick out the vision and artistic nuance that's been targeted and really bring a fully built, masterfully crafted and complete work of conceptual art in to focus.
In conclusion, many hands have and still do contribute great effort towards the endeavor that is the Edral Stone project. The two corner stones of the project and guiding principles are a deep respect for the boons of collaboration and an unflinching standard for honesty within their art and expression. All of those involved are excited for whats in store for the future.
